Finding Quotes by a Keyword

Love Quotes has a Find function, which lets you search for a particular quote, or find all the quotes of a particular author, or find all the quotes containing a particular word or phrase.

To start a search, first make sure that you are in the Quotes section of the program. Then click the Find button in the bottom left corner of the Quotes window. This opens a search bar at the bottom of the window.

Place the mouse cursor into the search field, type what you wish to search for (it can be a phrase, a single word or just a sequence of letters) and click the Go! >> button or press Enter on the keyboard.

Love Quotes searches through both authors and quotations. The search results are displayed in the main window.

To return to the main quotes list after a search, click the Reset button.

To hide the search bar, click the little cross in its upper right corner or click the Find button again.
